The goal of this project was to create a board game and adapt it into a video game.
In local 1v1 mode, each player must eliminate the opponent's units. For every enemy unit killed, a ball appears on your side of the field, which you must retrieve with one of your units and bring to the enemy zone.
Each time you score a point, you receive a bonus card that gives you a strategic advantage.
My role in this project was related to everything concerning:
•The UI's integration in the game
•The turn-based mechanics with the local data of each players
•The balancing of each units
This project helped me a lot to understand how important game-design can be in a game and how crucial a good and clear UI is , so the user can understand the mechanics faster and easier to increase the gameplay experience.
I had a great time working with my teammates through the entire development even though we had some struggle for the task-managing side at first.
